What You Eat Isn’t Sole Determiner in Size
Everyone always hears about diets and the role of eating healthy on staying thin. However, a new study released today by HealthDay News shows that your nervous system has a lot to do with how your body processes fats.
The serotonin levels in your nervous system play a large role in hunger and how your body processes calories once you’ve eaten. So basically, what you eat isn’t so important as is what your body does with it. Eating healthily is important, sure, as it keeps your body’s organs and systems functioning in tip-top shape. However, most weight loss efforts are focused on “feeding behavior” says the press release. Instead, they should focus on fat metabolism.
