I keep telling you to get some fresh local produce, and that the farmers market is the best place to go. But what if you’re not sure where yours is? There is a great website called Local Harvest where you can find the one closest to you. Most are only open a couple of days a week, so make sure to note days and times that it will be open.

Going to the farmers market is really fun. You get to meet the people who grow your food, and see some varieties that you won’t find in stores. The farmers always have helpful tips if you’re trying to prepare something for the first time. Lots of times there are even samples for you to try.
