Fake It Till you Make It!

Super-size it? No way! The mind of a “skinny” woman is something many weight-watchers would love to pry into–How do they have such willpower? How do they keep from eating that entire plate of french fries!? Are they human?

They are in fact human just like the rest of us, however their minds and the way they perceive food is just a little bit different. Below are a few tips on how to train your mind to think like a skinny woman: Even if you have to fake it.

Fake It Rule #1: Decide that hunger is not the worst feeling in the world. By letting go of that “I feel the slightest twinge of hunger, therefore I need a burger…stat” is your first step in gaining control. Realize that it’s more important to feed the hunger in a healthy way, rather than feed the hunger any way and every way, right away.

Fake It Rule #2: Realize that skipping meals is not the way to lose weight. The skinny woman eats breakfast, and you should too! By filling up on a healthy meal at the beginning of your day, you’re less likely to be starving and binge later on.

Fake It Rule #3: Find another way to cure PMS, a broken heart or work stress–don’t reach for the ice cream and potato chips! Doctors and PhD’s have stated that while skinny women are not immune to emotional eating, they are more likely to realize it and stop it before it gets out of hand.

Fake It Rule #4: Realize that working out isn’t just to lose weight–it’s to stay healthy. Skinny women don’t work out to lose weight but do it to keep an active lifestyle, which keeps the body healthy and prolongs life.

Fake It Rule #5: Eat until you’re content, not stuffed! Unless you are on death row and it’s the last meal of your life, keep your stomach at a happy medium between slightly hungry and satisfied.

The bottom line is, skinny or overweight, eating healthy and keeping an active lifesyle is the best way for anyone to live. And whether you’re 100lbs or 300lbs, be confident in who you are and make sure you’re living your life to its’ fullest!
