Staying in shape can get rather routine. Many people’s routines consist of the treadmill, some weights and maybe a pull up bar. There are other ways however, to stay in shape and have fun while you do it!

There are classes in Florida that offer women a 30 minute workout in heels that will keep you in shape and having fun.The class teaches women to do lunges and squats. Most of the exercises concentrate on improving posture. However, if you can’t make it to one of those classes you can work out in heels on your own. You can put on some music or buy a workout D.V.D. and shake it in the comfort of your own home!

Movie Workouts
Do you have some of those 80’s leg warmers in your closet? Don’t through them out just yet! A fun workout that will help you melt away calories includes dancing to your favorite 80’s dance movies. Buy the DVD’s of great 80’s dance movies like Footloose, Dirty Dancing and Flashdance. Learn the dance moves from these movies and practice them in your home. You can have a ton of fun while shedding pounds with your favorite movies.
Jump Rope to The Music
Who knew that something from your childhood could still be so much fun! No matter what kind of music you like you can throw it on and jump rope to the beat of the music. Put on your best sneakers, comfortable clothes and grab your jump rope. The trick is to work up a sweat while jump roping to the beat of your favorite music.     Great tips! I’ve got to try these… The treadmill and eliptical do get rather monotonous! 😉

      Yes, the standard workouts can get very boring but these workouts should spice things up.
